Jessie Strahan

     Jessie Strahan was born circa 1839 at Inverallochy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Strahan and Jane Stephen. She married George Ritchie at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 21 November 1857.1 As of 21 November 1857, her married name was Jessie Ritchie.
She was listed as head of household's wife in the 1861 census at 11 Loch Street, Rosehearty, Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: George Ritchie, head; Jessie Ritchie, wife.2
