     James Lovie Cruden was born in 1857 at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland; In the IGI there are births for two persons called James Lovie Cruden, in 03 AUG 1857 and 28 NOV 1857. He was the son of William Cruden. James Lovie Cruden was a cooper. He married Margaret Sclater at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 31 December 1881.1 He was the informant for, and present at, Margaret Slater's death at 256 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 December 1903.2,3,4 James died on 25 November 1941.5 He was buried after 25 November 1941 at Rathven Old Churchyard, Main Road, Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland.5
