The Buckie and District Directory for 1926 shows that Alexander George Mair lived at 23 Church Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.2 He married Miriam Helen Jane Slater at Parish of Nigg, Kincardineshire, Scotland, on 28 September 1927.1 Alexander died on 23 February 1935 at sea at age 35. He was lost, presumed drowned, 35 miles ENE from Aberdeen.3,1
