James Alexander Mair

     James Alexander Mair was born on 19 April 1881 at 11 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Alexander Mair and Georgina Allan. His family was known by the tee-name of "Bo". James Alexander Mair was a shipwright. He was the informant for, and present at, Georgina Mair's death at 483 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 9 August 1911.2,1 He married Helen Margaret McIntosh at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 22 August 1918.1 James died on 10 September 1943 at Ashview, Bogmoor, Spey Bay, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 62.1
