James George Mair

     James George Mair was born on 16 February 1931 at 4 Shore Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Alexander Gardiner Mair and Catherine Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Cock". He married Violet Taylor at Aberdeen, Scotland, on 30 April 1958.1,2 James George Mair adopted his step-sons, Terry Simard and Robert William Simard.2 James died on 3 March 2014 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 83.3,2 He was buried on 6 March 2014 at Myrus Cemetery, Macduff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.3
