He was the informant for William Bruce's death at 7 Harbour Place, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 April 1935.2,3 Alexander died on 5 October 1947 at Campbell Hospital, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 33.1,3 He was buried after 5 October 1947 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1
