Alexander Mair

     Alexander Mair was born on 1 June 1892 at Church Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of John Mair and Ann Smith. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". Alexander Mair was a fisherman. He married Janet Geddes at The Town Hall, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 December 1926.¹ Alexander died on 27 August 1958 at 22 Park Crescent, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 66.¹
