     Gertrude Anne Mair "Bobbin" was born on 22 August 1914 at 261 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of David Mair and Jane Mair. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Bobbin". She married James Murphy at 210 Victoria Road, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 13 September 1939.2 As of 13 September 1939, her married name was Gertrude Anne Murphy. She was the informant for David Mair's death at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 17 March 1958.3,2 Gertrude died on 24 April 1992 at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 77.2
