     David Falconer was born circa 1854 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. He was the son of David Falconer and Elspet McIntosh.
He was listed as head of household's son in the 1861 census at 103 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. David Falconer was a fisherman. He married Margaret Mair at Parish of Seafield, Banffshire, Scotland, on 1 October 1870.2 David died on 5 April 1877 at sea, off Banff Harbour, Banffshire, Scotland. He perished with the fishing boat 'Amiable' that was wrecked off Banff.3,4
