David Mair

David Mair was born on 5 December 1912 at 425 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of George Mair and Isabella Jane Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". David Mair was often known as 'Davie.2' He emigrated to Hawaii in the early 1920s and subsequently moved to California.2 He married Elsie Bertha Scranton at Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, on 11 April 1938.1 David died on 2 July 2002 at Brentwood, Contra Costa, California, USA, at age 89.1
