Alexander Mair Ritchie

     Alexander Mair Ritchie was born on 11 June 1902 at Whitehills, Boyndie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Henry Ritchie and Janet Mair. He was a witness at David Wood and Georgina Ritchie's wedding at The Christian Institute, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, on 5 September 1917.2,1 Alexander Mair Ritchie was a seaman in the Merchant Service.1 He married Jeannie Wilson Windram at 6 Bank Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, on 17 December 1927.1 He was the informant for William Ritchie's death at Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 18 September 1968.1 Alexander died on 30 September 1973 at Dingleton Hospital, Melrose, Borders, Scotland, at age 71.1
