Peter Pirie

     Peter Pirie was born circa 1835 at Marnoch, Banffshire, Scotland. He was a general labourer and cofter. He married Mary Mann at Parish of Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland, on 30 November 1867.1 He was the informant for, and present at, Catherine Pirie's birth at Coreburn, Letterfourie, Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland, on 18 January 1878.2
He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census at Coreburn, Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: Peter Pirie, head; Mary Pirie, wife; Cathrine Pirie, daughter.3
