     Anne Wood "King" was born on 10 February 1793 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was baptized on 11 February 1793 at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of James Wood and Margaret Donaldson. Her family was known by the tee-name of "King". She married John Mair at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 24 November 1814.3 As of 24 November 1814, her married name was Anne Mair.
