     John Clark was born illegitimate before 17 June 1852.1 He was baptized on 17 June 1852 at Parish of Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of James Clark and Janet Auld. John Clark was a fisherman. He married Ann Innes at Free Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 6 October 1876.2 John died on 7 November 1927 at Portessie, Banffshire, Scotland.3
