John Mair

     John Mair was born circa 1920. He was the son of Francis George Mair and Annie Cordiner. His family was known by the tee-name of "Slater". John Mair was a fisherman and engineman in the Royal Naval Reserve. He married Elizabeth Coull at North Church Manse, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 20 September 1941.1
