Alexander Mair

     Alexander Mair was born on 30 December 1873 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of George Mair and Helen Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Bo". Alexander Mair was a fisherman, ship rigger and engineer's labourer. He married Mary Findlay Mair at 11 Scotstown, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 6 September 1898.1 He married Mary Napier at Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland, on 23 August 1905.1 He was the informant for Helen Mair's death at 67 St. Catherine Street, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 27 April 1933.1 He was the informant for Mary Mair's death at 23 Crown Avenue, Clydebank, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on 24 March 1936.1 He married Mary Buchanan at 21 Hope Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, on 24 June 1939.1 He was the informant for Mary Mair's death at Western Infirmary, Glasgow, Scotland, on 29 August 1944.1 He married Annie McCulloch at 20 Clunie Street, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 3 September 1946.1 He was the informant for James Wood Mair's death at 2 Wood Street, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 31 October 1946.1 He was the informant for Annie Mair's death at 20 Clunie Street, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 17 September 1950.1 Alexander died on 10 April 1964 at Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 90.1
