He married Margaret Wilson at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 1 November 1832.3,2 He was the informant for Alexander Falconer's birth at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 4 October 1872.4,5 He was the informant for William Mair's death at sea, off Banff Harbour, Banffshire, Scotland, on 5 April 1877.6,7,2 He was the informant for David Falconer's death at sea, off Banff Harbour, Banffshire, Scotland, on 5 April 1877.8,2 Alexander died on 10 December 1894 at 353 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 84.2
