William Pirie

William Pirie was born on 25 July 1937 at 12 Springbank Street, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of James Pirie and Catharine Mair. William died circa 1990 at an Orkney Harbour. "Billy was drowned in an Orkney Harbour about twenty years ago. He had cleared out to Grimsby and was on a small anchor seiner boat".2
